Forensic Medicine- Medico Legal Demonstration Class
The Department of Forensic Medicine was established in the year 1989. The Department was under the great leadership of eminent forensicists like Dr. Cap. Ramu who was responsible for building full pledged museum.
Dr. B.R.S.Kashyap is the HOD presently. Apart from regular theory and practical classes for students, the department conducts regular medico legal proceedings like Post Mortems studies, Emergency Medico legal works like Road traffic accident, Burns, Poisonings are taken care of. Dowry deaths and Crime against women are special issues, which are attended by the Department.
In June 2002, the Department has conducted CME and a live surgical workshop
