Sree Siddhartha Educational Society (SSES) was established in 1959 by its founder late Shri H.M.Gangadharaiah who was a peasantry man and was in politics for a brief time. During his political carrier, he has done lot of social works, reforms like prohibition of animal slaughtering and struggled hard to establish social equality among oppressed and depressed clan of people in the society. Later on, he entered the field of education and established educational institutions mainly in rural areas to cater the educational needs of rural masses in Karnataka. He led higher education to the door steps of rural population. He started Medical, Engineering, Dental and other degree courses like JOC, Diploma’s like industrial training. He also started boarding home to students who could stay there and gain their education. The late founder Secretary HMG, was a simpleton, a true Gandhian, true follower of Ambedkar and luminary in the field of education. He left behind a path of life to all common individuals to gain their wisdom in the form of getting education. In his own words education is wisdom, wisdom is education. Therefore he turned out unimaginable amount of achievements and contributed enlightening institutions for the population of Indian society
