The Department is headed by eminent Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr. B.K. Jena
Department carries out regular antenatal care to pregnant ladies, Gynaec Clinics. It also handles complicated cases like septic abortion, eclamrpsia, pre-eclampsia round the clock. emergency surgeries like C-Section, ectopic pregnancy surgeries are performed routinely.  
Department conducts regular health camps with mobile hospital unit. 
Department is participating in various national health programmes, by conducting tubectomy camps, Laparoscopic Sterilization and PMTCT Programmes 
Both P.G Degree and Diploma Course are started from the year 2001.
