The Department has a big lecture hall which can accommodate 250 students. Department has a museum with 700 mounted specimens, wet specimens and seminar hall in the premises of museum for clinico-pathological meeting. Practical hall has arrangements for 80 students with microscopes along with CCTV, Epidiascope, OHP, and slide projector. Departmental library has 150 reference books.
Department of pathology was established in March 1991
The diagnostic wing of the Dept. consists of separate sections like Histopathology, cytology and Hematology are well equipped and functions under the able guidance of HOD Dr. Kodanda Swamy.
MD in Pathology course was started in the year 2000.
